Ever since I was a child, I have been fascinated by life and the world around me. Science and research first allowed me to understand the world through reason. In the last few years, photography came into my life, fulfilling a more creative, emotional side.

Like the great French photographer Brassai, I think that there is nothing more extraordinary than reality itself, and if it fails to fill us with wonder, it is because we have fallen into the habit of simply seeing it as “ordinary”. In line with this, I like to say that, as a street photographer, I search for the “extra” in the ordinary. To do so, I am driven by a deep sense of exploration, experimentation, and discovery. After all, I am a scientist with an artistic mind wandering the streets.

When I step into the streets, I do so with an open mind and no particular expectations. I simply immerse myself in the present moment, turning seeing into looking and “savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second,” as Marc Riboud, another great French photographer, once said.

My approach combines careful composition, geometry, and visual juxtapositions, exploring unexpected relationships between people, objects, colors, shadows, and reflections. At the same time, I embrace spontaneity, capturing the unrepeatable moments unfolding before me.

Ultimately, I seek to reveal the quiet poetry of everyday life through fleeting fragments of beauty, humor, and mystery that might otherwise go unnoticed.

In the end, I just try to live by the poem:

“Instructions for living a life:
Pay attention.
Be astonished.
Tell about it.”
